对许多人来说2009年是充满变化的一年，经济，政治，自然环境都在急速的变化当中， 东方和西方国家都在寻找对策，1930’S的经济大恐慌发生时，股票市场也曾出现连续8个 月高达60%的涨幅，然而接着临到的却是美国历史上空前的经济萧条，没有人能准确的知道明天将如何， 但我们都知道主掌管明天。但以理4：17说道“至高者在人的國中掌權“，而主耶稣在约翰福音14:27 中说到“我留下平安給你們, 我將我的平安賜給你們. 我所賜的, 不像世人所賜的.你們心裡不要憂愁, 也不要膽怯”。基督徒面对未来有着一个不可动摇的平安和盼望。我们今年的美南秋令特会的主题将是“神掌权” God Rules）,万事万物都在改变的同时，耶稣不改变，主的生命和权能不改变，而他给我们的应许永不改变， 希伯来6：19讲到“我們有這指望如同靈魂的錨, 又堅固又牢靠, 且通入幔內“，同一卷书的13：8说到“耶穌基督, 昨日今日一直到永遠是一樣的“。常在幔内得着生命的应许和把握，便能出到幔外面对今时代一切的挑战， 好叫基督的得胜能成为我们的得胜，基督的掌权能成为教会的掌权。启示录1：7 “看哪, 他駕雲降臨. 眾目要看見他, 連刺他的人也要看見他. 地上的萬族都要因他哀哭. 這話是真實的. 阿們.“，11:15 “第七位天使吹號, 天上就有大聲音說, 世上的國, 成了我主和主基督的國.他要作王, 直到永永遠遠“。而启示录更提到我们要和他一同作王 20：4，22：5），今天是我们接受装备和训练，藉着神给我们的生命和恩赐迎接挑战的时刻。我们这至占至轻的苦楚要为我 们成就极重无比永远的荣耀。

由于新堂的完工，我们今年的所有聚会将在教会举行。今年我们成人组的特约讲员包括 Chairmen of Kingdom Economy Yearly Submit (KEYS) Pastor Bruce Cook, founding pastor of hope chapel Dan Davis, TCA f ounding Pastor 陈瑞曾，Founder of 10500 Kingdom Ministry Pastor David Tai， 和TCA 中文部牧师马邦彦。 青少年的讲员包括 Pastor David Tai 和TCA 的英文牧师John McGaughy. 儿童聚会的讲员仍然是Fred and Sonya Haley.他们在过去两年给我们的儿童有非常大的帮助。这是一个为渴慕真理和爱慕耶稣的 人所预备的聚会，每一个年龄层都将有丰富的得著，在此代表传福教会和美南特会的同工们邀请所有主内弟兄姐妹都能来参加。

To most people the year 2009 is a year full of changes, Economy, Politics, Natural Environment, all are rapidly changing. Nations in both Eastern and Western world are looking for the countermeasures. Prior to the Great Depression in 1930’s, the stock market had shown 8 consecutive months of gain with increase as high as 60%; however, immediately followed was the worst economical depression that never before happened in the US history. No one can precisely predict what the future holds, but we know that God is in charge of Tomorrow. Daniel 4:17 said: “the Most High is sovereign over the kingdoms of men”; and Jesus said in John 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid”. Christians possess an unshakable peace and hope when they face the future. This year, the theme of our Southern US Fall Retreat will be “God Rules”. When all is changing, Jesus doesn’t change, the life and the power of our Lord will not change, and the promises He gave us will never change either. Hebrew 6:19 promised: “We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. It enters the inner sanctuary behind the curtain”; in the same book, the verse 8 of chapter 13 also mentioned “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever”. We receive the promise and confidence of life by constantly dwelling in the inner sanctuary behind the curtain, and then we could walk out of the curtain to face all the challenges of today, to transform Christ’s victory into our own, to enable the reigning of the Christ become the reigning of the church. It was described in Rev. 1:7, “Look, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and all the peoples of the earth will mourn because of him. So shall it be! Amen”; also in 11:15, “the seventh angel sounded his trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven, which said: ‘The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will reign for ever and ever’”. The book of Revelation also described that we would reign with Jesus (20:4, 22:5). Today is the time that we receive the armors and the training from God, also the time to welcome and face challenges with the life the gifts from God. For all our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2Cor 4:17).

Because of the completion of our new building, all the meetings (adults, youths, and children) will be held in our church. The speakers for the adults include Pastor Bruce Cook, Chairman of Kingdom Economy Yearly Submit (KEYS); Dan Davis, the founding pastor of Hope Chapel at Austin; Ray Chen, the founding pastor of TCA; Pastor David Tai, the founder of 10500 Kingdom Ministry; and Ben Maa, the Chinese pastor in TCA. The speakers of the youth group are Pastor David Tai and John McGaughy, the English pastor of TCA. Once again, the speakers of the Children’s program are Pastors Fred and Sonya Haley from Redding, CA; they have provided great fun and help for our children in the past two years. This is a meeting prepared for all who desire truth and Jesus, every age group will be served by renowned spiritual leaders. Here, on behalf of TCA and all the coworkers of the Southern US Retreat, I cordially invite all the brothers and sisters in Christ to come and join us.
